Stories about what love leaves behind
Listen: a personal introductionWhat Love Leaves BehindMichael Bryan Ferrier · 5:13

Every love
has a story.

Tell their story once. Let it be heard a thousand times.

Let's tell the story of someone you love — a parent, partner, friend, family member, coworker, mentor, father figure, mother figure, or pet — in a way that honors what made them special, preserves their memory, and helps others remember the good, the beauty, the challenges, and the lessons learned from the love they left behind.

A touching way to honor, remember, and inspire

Their story.
Your way.

Every love has a story, and that story deserves to be told. Articulating it — and finding a place to preserve it — can be challenging. Together, we can forge the story held inside your heart, sharing how it began, the memories it created, the love you carry, and the ways that love changed you forever.

Sharing your story not only honors the love you experienced; it may also offer comfort to others who feel lost in grief. Let's tell the story and help one another remember. Love never dies. It lives in what love leaves behind.

01

You tell their story

You bring the photographs and memories. Through a relaxed, guided conversation, I help you tell the story in your own words and record it in your own voice. I then carefully edit and arrange that conversation into a beautifully produced audio memoir—preserving your personality, perspective, and connection to the person you love.

02

I tell their story

You give me the honor of telling their story. You share the memories and photographs, and I craft and narrate a lasting portrait of the person or pet you love.

03

We tell it together

We sit down for a relaxed conversation. I ask the questions, you tell me about them, and together we uncover the moments that made that love unforgettable.

What Love Leaves Behind

“The story isn’t only about how they left.
It’s about the love they left behind.

These are not obituaries, though grief has a place in them. They are chapters about a life: the laughter, inside jokes, ordinary Tuesdays, hard lessons, challenges overcome, memorable moments shared with family and community, favourite songs, muddy paws, and all the little things that made that life unforgettable. They also explore the ways that love shaped you.

Each story honors their legacy and helps others remember what that love left behind in them.

One story. Different ways to preserve it.

From a story
to a legacy.

Start with the format that feels right. I can interview one person or several family members, friends, coworkers, and others who knew them, weaving their memories into a fuller story. The heart of the work stays the same: preserving the details, memories, and personality that made this life unlike any other.

Audio memoir

Let their story be heard.

A carefully produced audio story created from your memories — told in your own voice or narrated by me, then shaped as either a relationship memoir or a biographical memoir.

A personal story you can listen to and share.
Your archival portrait

A portrait shaped by your memories.

Every finished story includes a custom engraving-style portrait created from a photograph. You decide what belongs in the image: the setting or landscape, meaningful objects and symbols, and the details that should be preserved or left out.

carrying with you?

You don’t need to have the right words yet. Start with their name and a little about who they are to you. We’ll figure out the rest together.
